New goal: be in bed by ten-thirty PM at the latest from now on.

Because if it isn't somebody yelling my name from across the house, it's the fucking dryer that shrieks and squeals whenever it's used (usually around dawn, Christ). You know the one, in the room next to mine.

My monitor died this morning. The screen would shrink and warp due to an age issue, according to Alex, so I ran out to Wal*Mart and bought a new one only to discover it was missing the cable that connected the monitor to the computer brain.
